Dear CARL.Solution Customers -
TLC will be issuing the CARL.Solution 5.5 release on August 14, 2009. The TLC Denver Office is setting aside development resources to complete a 'post-release', to be issued 4 to 6 weeks from the initial CS 5.5 release, to respond to your testing feedback. As this is the last major release, we are encouraging all of our CARL.Solution sites to begin testing this release immediately. This will allow us to quickly identify and fix any critical issues that might be introduced with the CS 5.5 code. We are pleased with the progress that both our Development Support and CARL.Solution 5.5 teams have been able to make toward resolving your highest priority issues. Also, we will be offering NCIP, Blu-Ray, and fixing some additional high priority bugs identified by the TLC Product Support staff with this last major release.
As you experienced with your CARL.Solution 5.3 and 5.4 submissions, some customer requests have been identified as enhancements and therefore, will not be part of this bug fix release. Other requests that will not be part of this release include bugs that we simply could not determine the cause and/or replicate.
